Runtz – Feminized Cannabis Seeds
Runtz is an Indica-dominant feminized hybrid created by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from Zkittlez × Gelato. It offers a high 27% THC and 0.10% CBD, flowers in 8–9 weeks, stays medium-sized indoors (0–5 ft) and reaches 5–8 ft outdoors. It yields about 450–500 g/m² indoors or up to 500 g per plant outdoors, with harvest usually from late September to early October. Its genetics combine the sweet candy flavor and relaxing Indica structure of Zkittlez with the balanced potency and creamy, earthy complexity of Gelato: reported effects are first energetic and focused, then give way to a relaxing, sleep-friendly calm.
Genetics: Zkittlez × Gelato
Zkittlez brings an irresistibly sweet candy scent, a fruit-dominated terpene profile and a dense Indica bud structure.
Gelato brings a balanced yet powerful effect, a complex terpene profile ranging from creamy sweetness to a subtle earthy note, and refined potency.

Appearance
Lime-green buds accented with bright orange hairs, sometimes taking on purple hues when nights are cooler. A dense structure, covered in a thick, sparkling layer of crystalline trichomes.
Flavor, Aroma & Terpenes
Flavor: candy-sweet, with tangy and tropical fruit notes, over an earthy, herbal depth inherited from Gelato.
Main terpenes: caryophyllene, limonene, linalool, phellandrene and terpineol.
Effects
Commonly reported effects: energetic, focused, happy, hungry, relaxing, sleep-promoting. A rush of euphoria and good mood within minutes is generally described, evolving into relaxed contentment as the effect progresses; at higher doses, the effect leans more toward sedation and sleep.
At 27% THC this is a very potent strain: new or low-tolerance consumers should start with a small dose. Effects vary by person. Not medical advice.
Reported Uses
Some users say its relaxing profile helps with stress, general discomfort or trouble sleeping, at moderate doses. These are commonly reported uses, not medical advice or a claim to treat any diagnosed condition. Consult a healthcare professional before using cannabis for anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia or any other health concern.
Indoor Growing
- Training: topping or LST helps control canopy spread.
- Temperature: 70–80 °F (21–27 °C) by day, slightly cooler at night.
- Airflow: oscillating fans reduce the risk of mold and strengthen stems.
- Medium: adapts well to soil and hydroponics; aim for a pH of 5.8–6.5 in soil and 5.5–6.0 in hydroponics.
Outdoor Growing
- Location: a sunny spot with 6–8 hours of direct light per day.
- Soil: fertile, well-draining soil prevents root problems.
- Climate: prefers a Mediterranean or slightly humid climate, with warm days and mild evenings.
- In Canada: finishing flower from late September to early October is achievable in milder regions; in colder regions, start indoors or consider our faster autoflower seeds. Rules on home cultivation vary by province; Quebec does not allow it. See our guide to buying cannabis seeds in Canada.
Harvesting
Inspect the trichomes with a loupe to aim for peak potency: harvesting too early can reduce potency, while waiting too long makes the effect more sedating. A slow dry and a good cure protect the sweet terpenes; see drying and curing cannabis.
