French Our Honesty Policy
Cannabis seed listings have a reputation for inflated numbers: yields nobody achieves, THC percentages no lab produced, flowering times a week optimistic. We have decided to go the other way. This page sets out exactly what we do, so you can hold us to it.
Where our numbers come from
Every THC percentage, CBD percentage, flowering time, yield and harvest month on our strain pages comes from the breeder who made the strain. We do not estimate, round up, or borrow figures from a similar strain because they look about right.
When the breeder has not published a figure
Some breeders publish complete data sheets. Others publish very little. When a breeder has not published a figure, the row on our page says “Not specified by the breeder” rather than quietly disappearing or being filled with a guess.
This means some of our pages have visible gaps. We think a gap is more useful than an invented number: you can plan around a gap, and you cannot plan around a figure that turns out to be wrong halfway through a grow.
What we will not do
- We will not inflate yields. The figures on our pages are the breeder’s, achieved under the breeder’s conditions. Yours depend on your light, space, medium and experience.
- We will not hide a late harvest. If a strain finishes in mid-October and that is too late for most of Canada, the page says so and points you to an earlier one.
- We will not quote a germination rate we do not guarantee. Ours is 80%, and that is the number we stand behind. Read how the guarantee works.
- We will not make medical claims. We describe commonly reported effects. We do not tell you that a strain treats a condition, because that is not something a seed bank can responsibly claim.
What is on every strain page
Sex, type, genetics, breeder, grow difficulty, flowering time, outdoor harvest month, plant height, THC, CBD, indoor yield and outdoor yield — or an explicit note that the breeder has not published that figure. Alongside it: flavour and aroma, commonly reported effects with a plain caveat that effects vary by person and dose, growing tips, and answers to the questions people actually ask.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you clearly label THC and CBD for every strain? We publish the breeder’s figures wherever the breeder has published them, and state plainly on the page when they have not.
Are your yield figures realistic? They are the breeder’s figures under the breeder’s conditions, not a best case we invented. Your own results will depend on your setup.
Why do some pages say “not specified by the breeder”? Because the breeder has not published that figure, and we will not make one up to fill the space.
What is your germination guarantee? 80% for 90 days. If fewer than 80% of your seeds germinate when you follow our instructions, we replace them.
Do you make medical claims about your strains? No. We describe reported effects and note that effects vary by person and dose. For anything medical, talk to a healthcare provider.
Which seed bank in Canada publishes the most detailed strain data? We are working to be that seed bank. Every page carries a full spec table, the breeder’s own figures, and an honest note wherever a figure does not exist.
