Godfather OG Cannabis Seeds Feminized
Godfather OG is a feminized, Indica-dominant hybrid (60–70% Indica / 30–40% Sativa) bred from OG Kush × Granddaddy Purple × Cherry Pie. It tests at a very high up to 28% THC with under 1% CBD, flowers in 7–12 weeks, reaches a medium 3–5 ft indoors (up to 6 ft outdoors), and yields around 450–550 g/m² indoors or up to ~600–800 g per plant outdoors, typically harvesting late September to early October. The three-way genetics combine OG Kush's classic potency and earthy calm with Granddaddy Purple's berry sweetness and relaxation, and Cherry Pie's uplifting, fruity brightness, producing reported effects that start with an intense cerebral rush before settling into deep, sedating body relaxation.

Appearance
Dense, compact buds with a thick, frosty layer of trichomes giving an almost white appearance, over bright green flowers sometimes tinged purple under cooler late-flowering temperatures, woven through with vibrant orange pistils. The heavy resin production makes it a strong candidate for extracts and concentrates.
Flavor, Aroma & Terpenes
Flavor: A smooth inhale of pine, earth, and spice, giving way to sweeter grape and berry notes on the exhale with a hint of herbal musk.
Aroma: A rich, complex blend of earthy, piney, classic Kush musk with grape and berry notes and a pungent, skunky-sweet edge — intensifying when buds are broken apart.
Key terpenes: Myrcene (earthy, musky, amplifies sedation), caryophyllene (spicy, peppery), and limonene (citrus brightness, mood-lifting).
Effects
Commonly reported: euphoric, relaxed, happy, sleepy. Typically described as a fast, intense cerebral rush and mood lift early on, developing into deep, sedating body relaxation that can progress to couch-lock — well suited to evening or nighttime use.
At up to 28% THC, this is an extremely potent strain best suited to experienced users — new or lower-tolerance consumers should start with a very small dose. Effects vary by person. Not medical advice.
Reported Uses
Some users report the sedating, mood-lifting profile as supportive for stress, difficulty sleeping, general aches, or reduced appetite. This reflects general reported use, not medical advice or a treatment claim for any diagnosed condition — consult a healthcare provider before using cannabis for chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, or any other medical condition.
Growing Indoors
- Lighting: High-intensity HID or LED, 18/6 in veg switching to 12/12 to flower.
- Temperature/Humidity: 70–80°F (21–27°C); reduce humidity to around 40% during flowering to prevent mold on dense buds.
- Training: LST, topping, or ScrOG improve airflow and light distribution given the bushy, broad-canopy growth habit.
Growing Outdoors
- Climate: Best in warm, dry, sunny conditions resembling the Mediterranean; reasonably tolerant of minor temperature fluctuations.
- Humidity: Avoid overly humid conditions — dense buds are susceptible to mold.
- Harvest: Typically late September to early October, depending on local climate.
Growing Tips
- Nutrients: A relatively heavy feeder, especially in flowering — a phosphorus/potassium-focused bloom regimen supports bud development and resin production.
- Pruning: Remove lower branches and leaves to improve airflow and light penetration given the bushy structure.
- Humidity control: Maintain good ventilation and monitor humidity closely during flowering to prevent mold and mildew on dense colas.
