Banana Spears Auto Cannabis Feminized Seeds

( Grape-Nesia Auto x Banana Runtz Auto )

Banana Spears Auto Cannabis Seeds Feminized, bred by ButterBean Birdseed, is a sativa structured autoflower built around one clear idea: a pure banana flavour carried on long, spear shaped colas packed with resin. It finishes in 75 days from sprout, is listed at 30%+ THC, and has built its reputation as a rosin strain.

Genetics and Background

Banana Spears Auto crosses two ButterBean Birdseed autoflower lines, worked to the F3 generation before release:

  • Grape-Nesia Auto: brings the grape and haze side of the cross along with the open, stretchy sativa frame. Growers report its background as Double Grape Auto crossed with Amnesia XXL Auto.
  • Banana Runtz Auto: brings the banana flavour and the heavy resin. It is a Runtz Auto crossed with Banana Blaze Auto, also bred by ButterBean Birdseed, and we stock it as its own strain.

Taking the cross to the F3 generation gives the line more consistency from seed to seed than an earlier F1 or F2 release.

Plant Characteristics and Growth Pattern

  • Lifecycle: 75 days from sprout to harvest.
  • Height: Up to about 1 metre.
  • Structure: Sativa structured, with long spear shaped colas coated in trichomes.
  • Yield: Medium to high.

Aroma and Flavour Profile

Banana, clean and direct, with the grape sweetness of the Grape-Nesia side behind it. The breeder lists the flavour simply as banana, and it is the trait this strain was selected for.

Effects

Listed by the breeder as an upper: a bright, heady lift rather than a sedating one, in keeping with its sativa structure.

Resistance and Resilience

ButterBean Birdseed does not publish heat, cold, mould or pest ratings for Banana Spears Auto, and we would rather say so than put a number on it. As a general point, an open sativa frame moves more air through the canopy than a dense indica one.

Cultivation Information

Suitable for indoor, greenhouse and outdoor growing. As an autoflowering variety it moves into flower on age rather than on a change of light schedule, so no light cycle change is needed. Outdoors the breeder lists an August harvest, which brings it in well before the Quebec and Eastern Canadian frost window.

A Note on THC

ButterBean Birdseed lists Banana Spears Auto at 30%+ THC, and it is sold elsewhere as tested at 30%. We report the breeder figure as published rather than estimate our own. Potency in any grow depends on conditions, feeding and harvest timing.

Each pack contains 5 feminized autoflowering seeds.
