Bubba Kush Cannabis Seeds Feminized

Bubba Kush is a legendary feminised cannabis seed. That's why the catalogue of Dinafem Seeds couldn't do without her; because she's the most acclaimed Indica plant ever. The story of one of America's most beloved strains dates back to the '90s, when some Kush-lovers set out to create new breeds in Los Angeles. Named after her creator, a grower called Bubba who happened to develop the Bubba Kush cross totally by chance, she quickly became the favourite flower of famous rappers such as Cypress Hill. And rumour has it that, during this Bubba-mania, half a kilo could be sold for $8000. Ours derives from a Pre´98 Bubba Kush elite clone and faithfully reflects all the marvellous traits that have made Bubba Kush the most highly regarded strain in the world: a strong taste of gasoline and coffee, and a powerful soothing effect.

  • Bubba Kush has been awarded the 1st Outdoor prize at the Copa Cannabis Uruguay 2015.

Morphology

Bubba Kush is a rather bushy plant: compact, with very few branches and short internodal spacing. She’s just perfect for small spaces due to her easy-to-control size, not more than 1 m indoors. With surprisingly wide leaves, well-developed side branches and a density off the charts, Bubba Kush is the purest Indica ever. The vast majority of plants acquire incredibly beautiful dark colours at the end of the flowering phase. In fact, when the dark-green top layer gets splattered with some purplish leaves, Bubba Kush becomes a real sight to behold.

Yield

Bubba Kush is noted for her excellent crops, not so much in terms of quantity, but in terms of quality: incredibly compact buds overflowing with trichomes; rock-hard, sticky flowers showcasing a marvelously unique aroma and a legendary effect. And, to top it off, the resin produced by this plant is one of her most important traits because it's of superb quality.

Aromas and flavours

Bubba Kush showcases a unique aroma. The expression “it smells of Bubba” is not used for nothing. When saying so, we refer to a mix of gasoline and earth, with hints of coffee, spices and citrus; some incredible touches that are also noticeable in her exceptional taste. Both have very strong personalities that, if consumed by combustion, turn into dense smoke.

Effects

The 'high' delivered by Bubba Kush is devastating, both soothing and long-lasting. Her THC levels being so close to 18 %, we recommend this strain to those who are used to coping with potent cannabis, because her effect is actually very powerful. Physical, capable of alleviating muscle tension at once, but cerebral too, clearing the mind at a stroke.

Cultivation

Bubba Kush is suitable for all kinds of growers, rookies included, because she is indeed a really grateful plant: resistant to drought and with a short flowering of 60-65 days, she provides marvelous results in exchange for very little attention. There’s only one drawback: she has plenty of incredibly wide leaves that could prevent the buds in the centre from receiving the amount of light they need. But there’s an easy solution to this problem: trimming.

Let’s keep a watchful eye on her growth at the end of the vegetative phase, right when the plant is about to start the flowering, because that’s when we could ruin everything. We should, therefore, trim the central leaves because only in this way, with the best ventilation and light conditions, will we be able to get central buds that grow normally, without any moisture-related problems. Don’t forget that, when growing outdoors with natural light, Bubba Kush is ready for harvest by mid-October.
