A classic haze variety that is better for indoors in northern latitudes.
Super Silver Haze is a genuine classic cannabis strain with a long history; winner of 3 consecutive HTCC awards in 1997, 1998 and 1999. It is a combination of Skunk, Northern Lights and Haze.
Super Silver Haze is probably the most indica-leaning of the famous sativa strains in terms of its effect. It is another plant that can get rather tall and unwieldy if allowed to. In order to preclude this it is recommended to use SCRoG or LST indoors and to give a reduced vegetative period. Indoors with 10 - 11 weeks flowering it is possible to produce a harvest of 800 gr/m2. Outdoors in equatorial, tropical, subtropical and temperate climates it can produce up to 1500 gr/plant for mid-October in northern latitudes.
The THC production of Super Silver Haze is 19.11% with low CBD and CBN of 0.17% and 0.74% respectively. It hits fast, strong and is a very long-lasting high that will eventually induce an advanced state of relaxation. This cross has been passed along to us from the incredibly versatile and well worked genetic library of Ron Herrington of Gold Hat Seeds, a life long breeder based in Alberta, Canada. Ron crossed the New Jersey cut of Sour Diesel with a best overall category winner at Spannabis, Red Runtz. He then crossed that with his Mac1 (Miracle Alien Cookies) line that originally came from a southern Oregon cut.
The Sour D / Red Runtz solved the overly stretchy problem that Mac1 presents. Dank, herbal, and sour terps abound. One of the best qualities of this cross is that terps hold and improve over time, thus making it an apt choice for commericial viability. This strain has tight bud structure which lends great bag appeal for finished flower but can present mold issues in late flower cycle rain events. This is one of Ron’s favorites and will be one of the first of his genetics we’re releasing at all, in the summer of 23′ through a grow along being hosted on the Future Cannabis Project.
